New public members use SkyDeck accounts. Stripe sends subscription events to SkyDeck, Supabase stores the protected membership entitlement and the account page issues access only while that entitlement is active.

Automatic entitlement
Trialing or active status unlocks SkyDeck. Inactive status stops new access automatically.
Cancellation behaviour
Access follows the Stripe entitlement.
If a subscription is cancelled immediately or becomes inactive, SkyDeck stops issuing access and checks existing membership sessions again on app entry and periodically while the flight deck remains open. If Stripe schedules cancellation for the end of a paid/trial period, access remains until the entitlement actually ends.
Legacy members
Existing access codes still work.
Members already using the older access-token system are grandfathered for now. Their existing token route remains available while public membership moves to automatic account-based access.
